Our Program

Bible2School serving Smoketown Elementary

We have the privilege to serve the 2nd-4th grade students at Smoketown Elementary through Bible2School. The students are transported by bus from Smoketown Elementary to New Life Church. The 2nd grade students meet Wednesdays from 11:30-12:30PM,  3rd grade students meet on Mondays  from 12:05-1:05PM, and the 4th grade students meet on Thursdays from 11:20-12:20PM. During that time the students will participate in a time of worship, enjoy the Bible lesson for that week, have an activity related to the lesson, and a small group time to discuss that weeks lesson.

Bible2School will begin September 23rd for 3rd grade, September 26th for 4th grade and October 2nd for 2nd grade.

How it Works

Bible2School is a program that provides free elective Bible classes to elementary school children attending public school during the school day. The children walk or are bused to a nearby church or partner location where trained volunteers engage the children in lively worship and Bible stories. Children and volunteers discuss how they can apply the Bible lessons in their lives and pray together.
